Map tool

Created in Electron. Allows users to define map layouts and to deliver levels data. Originated as similar tool to Background tool, but during development process turned into pretty big tool that allows game designer to modify individual maps and its nodes.

Some of parameters that user can set for gfx assets:

  • rotation
  • color
  • alpha
  • flip X and Y axis
  • X and Y position 
  • width and height
  • name
  • z-order

For map itself there are also multiple setting available, like for example:

  • number of segments
  • level dots
  • map theme
  • borders style
  • border colors
  • map colors

I will describe node data in a separate article, even though it is a part of this tool.
